7E10 Bionic Hydraulic Hip Joint
With Heli3D high-performance hydraulic hip joint system, Ottobock sets a new standard for assembly of hip amputees. In this area, related technologies have been stagnating for decades. This product is suitable for users who have retained the pelvis (hip dissection) or partial pelvic resection (hemiplasty).
During a natural gait cycle, the pelvis rotates and moves in three directions. Hip internal rotation and external rotation lost after amputation of the limb, as well as other mobility functions, can be replaced by Heli3D high-performance hydraulic hip joint system. This system has a unique joint design. The micro-hydraulic unit integrated on the hip joint can control the three-dimensional movement in the standing and swinging periods. Compared with the conventional hip joint system, the exercise pattern will be closer to the physiological gait. Normally, the conventional hip prosthesis system can only perform one-dimensional, forward and backward swing motions.
